Slovak PRO Toronto in collaboration with the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Ottawa are proud to present the very first Slovak PRO event in Toronto!
Join us for “Folklore to Jazz”, an exceptional evening that blends the rich sounds of Slovak musical heritage with world-class jazz. The concert will take place at The Reservoir Lounge (52 Wellington St E, Toronto) on June 29, 2025 at 6:30 PM.
The performance will be led by Radovan Tariška (alto saxophone) – one of Slovakia’s foremost jazz artists, composer, music educator, and the youngest recipient of the country’s Jazzman of the Year award.
He’ll be joined by fellow Slovak talents: David Hodek (drums), an acclaimed musician who has performed with global stars like Justin Timberlake, and Aron Hodek (bass guitar), celebrated internationally as a bass prodigy. Rounding out the lineup is special guest Benito Gonzalez on piano.
